Antique Coffee Tables

As we have written in the past how antique coffee tables did not exist in the Victorian period but were usually later converted from taller tables, well this week we have two very nice examples that have come in stock.

Both are from the Victorian period and make superb coffee tables as they have been reduced to the correct height but still have the character of antique furniture.
we have for sale a large antique mahogany coffee table that has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners above a deep frieze with two mahogany lined freeze drawers and stands on four turned chunky legs and an antique round mahogany coffee table has a circular moulded top and stands on an octagonal tapering pedestal with a tripod base and small turned bun feet with castors.

Both have been later adjusted to this very useful coffee table size and are much nicer that the modern coffee tables as these come with the beautiful character and have a very nice patina.
